Gosh, 2023 had it all - the ups, the downs, and the allll arounds. Today, you deserve to reflect on your own highlight reel and celebrate the HECK out of what you accomplished.
Sure, we learned hard lessons and struggled at times. But screw it. We kicked ass, too. πͺπ» Let's wrap up KBM's year and ring in the new year with some gifts, shall we?!
β
This was a year of transformation for the Babilya crew, and if you told me this time last year I'd be writing this email from my residence in Arizona, I'd laugh in disbelief. And yet, here we are - eating lunch in the backyard in December, going for hikes in the desert, and living out west like we always talked about. The change has been uncomfortable at times, but I'm proud of us.
I would also hesitate if you told me I was about to get my labs re-checked to see how my Hashimoto's is doing. My Hashi-what?! I never thought I'd be one to embark on an autoimmune journey, but we don't get to choose every part of our story - just how we react to it. For that, I'm proud too.
2023 also brought us:

Before I let you go...THANK YOU for making KBM such a fun and supportive place to be. I'm so proud of each and every one of you. Life is hard, but we're showing up. We're doing the work. We're growing and evolving. And we're loving ourselves in the process. This is NOT an easy feat and if nothing else, I hope that you take some time this week to look yourself in the mirror and say thank you to YOURSELF for everything you're doing for your body and your mind. It's a beautiful thing.
And with that...
Happy New Year and 2024 - we're ready for you!
xoxo,
Courtney
As a former ER nurse, I know how important it is to stick with the stuff that WORKS. I help women become stronger through sustainable + effective strategies that feel like coming home. I've made menstrual cycle-informed fitness the new natural way for women to train, helping thousands embrace their strength through my app. Welcome! Love, your friendly neighborhood fitness nurse.
Greetings from Arizona, fam! π΅ Something MUST be going on with the planets, because the wind of change has been strong over here. Or maybe it's just the 117-degree wind blowing in my face like a blowtorch. Anyway. After years of hosting all of my personal content and KBM content on @courtneykeepingbalance, the time has finally come: KBM is getting her very own Instagram page. She's all grown up! π₯Ή This is really exciting for a lot of reasons: 1οΈβ£ My @courtneykeepingbalance page is getting a...

I'm about to give you a little insider knowledge: Cycle syncing may not be for you. Yep, let me explain. When it comes to exercise, the term "cycle syncing" has become defined as doing different types of fitness throughout the cycle, such as strength training in the follicular phase, boxing or HIIT during the ovulatory phase, pilates in the luteal phase, and yoga in the menstrual phase. This approach is fabulous if you want to move your body more, work on your general fitness and wellness,...
